<pclass="lede">Aspiring UX researcher and digital storyteller. I treat a gallery the way I treat a chessboard and a North Shore trail: every turn is a decision, every landmark a promise you have to keep.

<pclass="cap">FIG. 00 — North Shore of Lake Superior. Cairns and blaze marks taught me more about wayfinding than any wireframe kit.

What this desk is for

I grew up between Burnsville cul-de-sacs and weekend hikes up the North Shore. Pickup hockey on Saturday, Arduino kits on the kitchen table that now outnumber the houseplants. Weekdays I build a portfolio that merges Python analysis with Photoshop studies — not as decoration, but as the two halves of a museum visit: what the floorplan claims, and what a visitor’s path actually does.

The work on this site is a <ahref="gallery-audit.html">field protocol for gallery wayfinding. It is not a calculator pretending to be craft. It is the clipboard I would carry into the <ahref="https://walkerart.org/">Walker Art Center on a Tuesday afternoon, when the school groups have left and the building is honest.

<pclass="cap">FIG. 01 — Spoonbridge and Cherry, Minneapolis Sculpture Garden (opened 1988; operated with the Walker). A landmark so loud it almost excuses a weak interior node. Almost.
