Adalberto Tolosa

Two ledgers — one for numbers, one for paint.

I spend my days in spreadsheets and approvals, coaxing order out of the chaos of an office. My nights belong to wet-on-wet gouache: paper that refuses to be told what to do, and the patient discipline of watching it decide anyway. This is the notebook where the two meet — the craft, the technique, the small films I make of color settling into dawn.

Latest Wash

I turned one of my slowest, quietest hours into a 60-second film: the Miami sunrise, painted live in wet-on-wet gouache. Read the technique study — the palette, the three failure modes, why gouache holds a dawn the way watercolor can't. Or watch the short.
