Daily A-item checklist

A-items are those with annual consumption > 20 % of total value (per our ABC layout). Required count frequency: every 4 weeks per SKU. For todays run, I captured <fort-kg query="cycle count" limit="5">

Cycle count — inventory auditing procedure

count — nobility title in European countries

cycle — in graph theory, non-empty trail in which only the first and last vertices are equal

count — in baseball, the number of balls and strikes called so far during a plate appearance

Cycle — Wikimedia disambiguation page

</fort-kg> from the knowledge graph.

B and C item quarterly review

B items: count every 8 weeks. C items: count quarterly. Both subject to a tolerance band of 1 %—over that triggers an eight-point verification.

Escalation trigger rules (current quarter)

Diff ≤ 1 % → Close out; no action.

Diff > 1 % but ≤ 3 % → Recount next day, note in bin audit log.

Diff > 3 % → Eight-point verification: re-weigh, re-count by second operator, check pick history, update bin master, notify supervisor.

These rules are derived from <fort-news topic="Inventory Management" limit="3">

NewtekOne Expands AI-Powered Client Support Platform with Glia manilatimes.net

prnewswire.com prnewswire.com

</fort-news> and my own discrepancy database.
