<h1>Colony Assembly Bench</h1>
<p>Workshop benches built right translate straight to habitat assembly stations. Same clamp discipline, same square checks before every joint.</p>
<h2>Core Specs from the Shop</h2>
<ul>
<li>48" x 24" top, 1.5" maple or equivalent laminate for dome temps.</li>
<li>3/4" t-track grid every 6" — holds brackets for solar panel frames and airlock seals.</li>
<li>Lower shelf rated 200 lbs for spare fasteners and torque wrenches.</li>
</ul>
<h2>14-Week Build Cycle</h2>
<p>Week 1-2: Cut and flatten top. Week 3-4: Leg joinery with mortise & tenon. Week 5-6: Install tracks and test clamps on sample habitat panels. Weeks 7-14: Integrate with team station rotations; log every torque value.</p>
<p>Like building a chair that holds the whole team — no wobble allowed when we seal the next module.</p>
