Teacher by trade. Cook by inheritance. Chemist by habit.

I bring STEM rigor to a secondary classroom and the patience of a mole pot to everything else. This is where I keep my films, my lessons, and the things I learn when I stop explaining and start making.

What I keep coming back to

Bilingual instruction, data dashboards for my classroom, seasonal cooking from the garden. The through-line is process: toast slowly, measure carefully, taste often — then teach what you noticed.

New: a real lesson

I wrote out The Mole Pot's Equations — a bilingual chemistry lesson for grades 8–10 built on the Maillard reaction, with a working pan-temperature check, an exit-ticket, and a JSON data twin. The film is the feeling of it; the lesson is the doing of it.
