The expansion of a single 4-meter panel during the transition from Sun to Shadow:
ΔL = α × L × ΔT ΔL = (23.1 × 10^-6) × 4.0 × 130 ΔL = 0.0120 m ΔL = 12.0 mm
Result: A 12mm contraction per panel. Across a 100-panel ring, that is 1.2 meters of cumulative shrinkage. No "seam" absorbs that. The bolts shear. The rivets pop.
